Mission
PRINCIPLES
The historical experience shows that, abandoned to the market rules and to the larger or smaller ecological conscience of the economic agents, the natural and cultural resources suffer a progressive and constant damage that affects directly or indirectly the population.
The government has the obligation of preserves this heritage through a sustainable use of the resources, so that activities that are being develop at present will not affect the future and collective interests will be protected.
The National State must keep, develop and manage a Protected Areas National System (SNAP), as an important conservation tool to maintain biological diversity, and natural and cultural argentinean heritage.
The Administración de Parques Nacionales of Argentina is the organization that conserves –with national and international projection- the biological and cultural diversity of the protected areas under its jurisdiction.
