Social Context
ITS IMPORTANCE
Along the last 60 years, the Protected Areas National System (SNAP) –in spite of constitutional interruptions, the alternation of democratic governments with different ideologies and successive and serious economic crisis- had been developed both on legal and operative aspects, and on the variety and extension of the areas that are involved.

From our point of view from the SNAP –as an important tool of conservation, fundamental for the support of the Argentinean natural and cultural heritage- the different social actors connected to the SNAP have a protagonist role.

This section is dedicated to the social context of the areas administrated byAdministración de Parques Nacionales, central crux in the conservation and management politics that are being implemented from the organism.
